About the job
Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Green Park, Delhi
Company: Sangal & Associates
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–4 years in accounting, preferably with a CA firm or in a finance function.
Salary: 10,000 to 25,000 (depending on experience)
About Us
Sangal & Associates is a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Delhi NCR, advising companies, alternative investment funds, start-ups and promoter groups in India and overseas.
Our practice spans statutory and internal audits; direct and indirect taxation; transfer pricing and international taxation; business and securities valuations; corporate structuring and restructuring; FEMA and RBI compliances; secretarial and ROC compliance; due diligence and transaction advisory; and litigation and representation before tax and regulatory authorities.
Working with us means exposure to cross-border assignments, funds and fast-growing businesses, close working contact with the partners, and the breadth that comes from a practice that is not confined to a single vertical.
We are looking for an Accounts Executive to join our team on a full time, onsite basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day books of account for clients and for the firm — sales, purchases, expenses, bank entries, journal vouchers and ledger scrutiny.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer and inter-company reconciliations and resolve open items.
- Handle GST compliance — computation of monthly liability, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filings, input tax credit reconciliation with GSTR-2B, and annual return support.
- Compute and deposit TDS/TCS, file quarterly returns and issue Form 16/16A.
- Assist in advance tax workings, income tax return filings and preparation of data for assessments and notices.
- Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow statements and management reports for clients.
- Assist in finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial statements as per Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Coordinate with audit teams — collate schedules, supporting documents and responses to audit queries.
- Manage payroll processing, vendor payments and receivable follow-ups where required.
- Maintain accounting records and documentation in an audit-ready condition.
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); semi-qualified CA or CMA candidates are welcome to apply.
- 1–4 years of hands-on accounting experience; freshers with strong fundamentals may be considered.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel; exposure to Zoho Books, QuickBooks or SAP is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS provisions and of the relevant filing portals.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client books to deadlines.
- Good communication skills for client coordination.
