We are looking for an experienced SQ QA Lead to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Accessibility Testing (WCAG), Functional Testing, and API Testing, along with the ability to lead QA activities and drive quality across applications.

Job Details

- Role: SQ QA Lead

- Experience: 8 to 13 Years

- Work Mode: Work from Office 5 Days/Week

- Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST

- Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Mandatory Skills

- Accessibility Testing WCAG

- Functional Testing

- API Testing

- Strong understanding of QA processes, test strategy, test planning, and defect management

- Experience in leading QA activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams

- Ability to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage

- Strong experience in defect tracking, reporting, and root-cause analysis

Accessibility Testing Key Expectations

- Hands-on experience in Web Accessibility Testing

- Solid understanding of WCAG guidelines and accessibility standards

- Knowledge of accessibility testing tools and techniques

- Experience identifying and reporting accessibility issues

- Understanding of keyboard navigation, screen readers, focus management, color contrast, semantic HTML, and ARIA

- Ability to validate applications against applicable WCAG success criteria

API Testing

- Strong experience in REST API Testing

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman/Swagger

- Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes,



headers, authentication, and request/response validation

- Experience validating API integrations and identifying defects

Functional Testing

- Strong experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and End-to-End Testing

- Requirement analysis and test case/test scenario preparation

- Defect identification, tracking, and closure

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Leadership Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor QA team members

- Define and execute QA strategies and test plans

- Coordinate with Development, Product, Business, and other stakeholders

- Track testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics

- Ensure timely delivery with appropriate quality standards

- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and practices

Tools for Accessibility testing:

- AXE and ARC tools - automated tools

- Color contrast - Color contarst analyser

- JAWS(paid s/w) and Nvidia - Navigating to users for blind ppl

- Keyboard navigation- using tab key

- DHS certification - testers - Helps tester to understand how accessibility works

- Good to have - CPACC holder certification

Good to Have

- Accessibility certification such as CPACC, WAS, or other recognized accessibility certifications

- Experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, or JAWS

- Exposure to automation testing

- Experience working with CI/CD and Agile delivery environments
