Role Purpose

Lead the end-to-end development, sourcing, commercialization, and lifecycle management of vehicle accessories to enhance customer experience, generate accessory revenue, and support the overall aftersales business strategy for JSW Motors.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Accessories Development

Develop and execute the accessories roadmap aligned with vehicle programs and customer requirements.

Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitor accessory offerings.

Conceptualize, evaluate, and launch genuine accessories across vehicle segments.

Work closely with Product Planning, Design, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales teams for accessory development.

Supplier & Vendor Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard accessory suppliers and technology partners.

Negotiate pricing, tooling, development costs, and commercial agreements.

Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost, and service metrics.

Drive supplier development and localization initiatives.

Project Management

Manage end-to-end accessory development from concept to market launch.

Ensure timely completion of design validation, testing, homologation, and approvals.

Track project timelines, budgets, and risks.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure launch readiness.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure accessories meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Support validation, durability testing, and field performance monitoring.

Drive corrective actions for quality concerns and warranty issues.

Aftersales Business Growth

Develop accessory packages and revenue enhancement strategies.

Work with dealer networks to improve accessory penetration.

Monitor accessory sales performance and profitability.

Support promotional campaigns and seasonal accessory programs.

Market Intelligence

Benchmark competitor accessories and pricing strategies.

Gather customer feedback and dealer insights.

Recommend new accessory opportunities based on market demand.

Documentation & Reporting





Maintain accessory catalogs, technical specifications, and cost records.

Prepare business cases and management presentations.

Track KPIs related to accessory sales, profitability, quality, and launch performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or related discipline).

Experience

10–15 years of experience in Automotive Accessories Development, Purchasing, Vendor Development, or Aftersales.

Experience with passenger vehicles, EVs, or automotive OEMs preferred.

Proven experience in supplier management and cross-functional project execution.
