We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior QA Engineer – Accessibility Testing Specialist to join a fast-paced Agile team supporting digital transformation initiatives within the Banking and Financial Services domain. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that online banking applications meet the highest standards of accessibility, usability, and quality across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will possess robust accessibility testing expertise, extensive experience in banking applications, and a deep understanding of industry accessibility standards and assistive technologies. You will act as an accessibility advocate, partnering with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver inclusive digital experiences for all users.

Responsibilities

Lead accessibility testing activities across web and mobile banking applications. Evaluate digital products for compliance with accessibility standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, and QA teams throughout the Agile software development lifecycle.

Act as an accessibility champion by providing guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams.

Conduct accessibility audits, reviews, and assessments during all phases of product development.

Validate accessibility compliance using manual and assistive technology testing techniques.

Create and maintain accessibility testing strategies, documentation, standards, and guidelines.

Identify accessibility gaps and provide actionable remediation recommendations.

Participate in Agile ceremonies,



including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Promote continuous improvement initiatives related to accessibility, usability, and customer experience.

Skills

Must have 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

Strong experience working in Agile development environments.

Proven experience testing Banking or Financial Services applications.

Hands-on experience with accessibility testing across web and mobile applications.

Strong knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Experience using assistive technologies such as:

JAWS

NVDA

VoiceOver

ZoomText

Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Other accessibility testing tools

Good understanding of

HTML

CSS

JavaScript

Experience testing across

Desktop and mobile platforms

Multiple operating systems

Various browsers and devices

Experience creating accessibility standards, documentation, and implementation guidelines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Nice to have

Certifications related to Accessibility Testing or Digital Accessibility.

Experience working within Private Banking or Wealth Management environments.

Knowledge of accessibility regulations and inclusive design principles.

Experience integrating accessibility testing into CI/CD and quality engineering processes.
