Band Nine Academy, founded by Elizabeth John, a renowned IELTS coach in India, is an IELTS training institute based in Kottayam, Kerala, helping students achieve their desired band scores through personalized, strategy-focused training.

Role

We are looking for a student-focused Academic Counsellor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Kottayam, Kerala

Key Responsibilities

- Call and connect with daily leads and understand their requirements.
- Guide students based on their individual needs and provide appropriate course information.
- Encourage and coordinate demo class attendance.
- Follow up with leads regularly through calls and WhatsApp.
- Build relationships with students and support them throughout their decision-making journey.




- Convert interested leads into enrollments and maintain accurate lead records.

Preferred Candidate
- Fluent in Malayalam and comfortable communicating with students in Malayalam. (Mandatory)
- Excellent at talking to students, understanding their needs, and providing the right support.
- Prior knowledge of IELTS, Spoken English, or PTE is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in IELTS, Spoken English, PTE, EdTech, education counselling, or admissions will be an advantage.
- Robust communication, listening, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Friendly, responsible, and student-focused approach.
