About the RoleNIE Academy is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Academic Counselors to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with students and parents, understanding their educational and career requirements, explaining suitable courses/programs, and converting enquiries into enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact students and parents through phone calls and follow up on enquiries.
- Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals.
- Explain available courses, programs, eligibility, perks, and career opportunities.
- Counsel students and parents and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly counselling and enrollment targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams.
- Maintain professional communication with students and parents.
- Build positive relationships with prospective students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in telecalling, academic counselling, admissions, inside sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome.
- Good verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Telugu/Hindi will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Comfortable making a high volume of calls and following up with leads.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic computer and MS Office skills.
