JD:-

- 5-8 years hands-on experience in Ab Initio guiding the migration team through legacy Ab Initio conversion for a large-scale Oracle-to-GCP BigQuery data and application migration
- Go-to expert on existing Ab Initio graphs/logic; helps the team interpret, validate, and modernize legacy jobs into BigQuery equivalents

Required Skills:-

- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Ab Initio graphs (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME); solid command of Ab Initio components graphs, DML, PDL, XFR, sandboxes, psets
- Solid experience with PySpark and GCP

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:-

- Prior experience supporting a legacy-to-cloud data migration project
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as UC4, Oracle databases and SQL
- Experience with legacy on-premise/Unix environments (Solaris a plus)
- Hands-on knowledge of GCP services, especially BigQuery, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer (Airflow)

Qualifications:-

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
