We advise on carbon strategy, climate risk, decarbonization, GHG accounting, and sustainability disclosure. Our training arm, AA Impact Academy, delivers programmes for boards and management teams.

????? ??? ????: We are hiring an Assistant Manager in our Sustainability Core team. The role combines ESG subject knowledge with project delivery. You will manage several client engagements at the same time, act as the working-level point of contact for clients, and help build ESG capability within client teams and our own.

We are looking for someone who can keep multiple projects on track, communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels, and produce written work that needs little rework before it reaches a client.

▸ Manage delivery across concurrent ESG workstreams, scoping, planning, tracking, and closing, and flag risks to timelines early

▸ Coordinate between internal teams, external consultants and client stakeholders, including running client meetings and follow-ups

▸ Prepare written deliverables for senior review: ESG policies, governance documents, risk management protocols and inputs to transition plans

▸ Support double materiality assessments and sustainability reporting aligned to BRSR, GRI, IFRS S1/S2 (including TCFD and SASB content) and, where required, ESRS





▸ Contribute to ESG governance and risk frameworks, including Three Lines of Defence structures

▸ Support ESG data collection and impact measurement for client engagements, including GHG inventories and KPI baselines, and prepare client reports and dashboards

▸ Track regulatory and standard-setter developments (SEBI, ISSB, GHG Protocol and others) and summarise implications for client work

▸ Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for client and internal teams, and prepare the supporting material

▸ 3–5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability consulting, corporate sustainability, or project management

▸ Experience managing more than one project at a time, with stakeholders at different levels of seniority ▸ Solid written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior audiences and facilitating group sessions

▸ Experience designing or delivering training, workshops or capability-building programmes

▸ Working knowledge of at least two of: BRSR, GRI, IFRS S2/TCFD, GHG Protocol, SBTi

▸ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualisation tools is an advantage

▸ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, Business, Public Policy or a related field; Master's degree preferred
