· Use Test Automation tools as per Automation Approach defined by the Programme/Portfolio leads, come up with own ideas to innovate and automate all testing activities applicable to support the Automation and Continuous Improvement journey.

· Escalate any issues to Test Manager/Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues

· Demonstrate an improvement in business and/or system knowledge in your relevant Portfolio

· Assist Test Manager in any operational tasks of managing a team and support Test Architect in adaption of agile and current processes/tools across programmes

· Should be able to take ownership of the module assigned

· Should be able to handle work assigned/issues with minimal supervision.

· Should be a good team player.

· Should be familiar with UI/API testing concepts and hands on API testing tools like SOAP UI/Parasoft.

· Knowledge on micro services would be an added advantage.

· Knowledge on DEVOPS tools and process would be an added advantage.

· Hands-on experience is a must in one or more technical skills under any of the technology platforms as below: (Technologies & tools are given below are for example purpose only)

o Mainframe - COBOL, IMS, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, TWS, File-Aid, REXX o Open Systems and tools – Selenium, Java, Jenkins, J2EE, Web-services, APIs, XML, JSON,



Parasoft/SoaTest –Service Virtualization o API Testing Tools – SOAP UI , Postman, Insomnia.

o Mid-Tier technology – MQ, WebSphere, UNIX, API 3rd party hosting platforms o Data warehouse – ETL, Informatica, Ab-initio, Oracle, Hadoop

· Hand on Exeprinace of Tets Automation using Java or any other Object Oriented Programming Language

· Hands on Experinace of Automation Framework Creation and Optimization.

· Good understanding of Selenium, Appium, SeeTest,JQuery , Java Script and Cucumber.

· Experience of working Build tools like apache ant, maven, gradle.

· Knowledge/previous experience of dev ops and Continous Integration using Jenkins, GIT, Dockers.

· Experience In API Automation Fremworks Like RestAssured , Karate.

· Graduate with software engineering background

· Hands on Experience in JIRA and Agile methodology.

· 3-6 years of experience in software testing.
