The Application Development team in Pune predominantly supports the International Private Bank business and operations teams situated in UK, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the latest Avaloq technology and its satellite interfaces to assist Barclays Wealth to expand further into these international areas.

- Will be responsible for the delivery of quality business solutions across multiple software development projects.
- Use appropriate business analysis and change techniques to work with the business and technology teams to analyze and implement change to support business requirements
- Document the business requirements and facilitate business, internal IT and external suppliers’ teams understanding of those requirements
- Validate technology designs and solutions against business requirements and complete appropriate traceability
- Liaise with project managers, designers and development teams (on-site and off-shore) to ensure that projects in progress are developed to deliver the business requirements.
- Ensure that knowledge and experience is shared through best practice, mentoring and leading.
- Take ownership , co-ordinate and facilitate end to end requirements gathering
- Document business, functional and non-functional requirements, model business process and manage acceptance/signoff process
- Prepare agreed deliverables in line with standards, to meet agreed quality standards and timelines
- Work with the business to rapidly build the domain expertise and influence required to understand, and challenge business and functional requirements.




- Rapidly learn Avaloq and related applications.
- Rapidly learn the Wealth Management and Investment Banking domain. Ability to perform end to end business requirement analysis.
- Provide functional support to testing, development teams as well as business users
- Review test scenarios and test cases and take part in defect analysis
- Coordinate UAT and Regression testing ensure timely sign-off.
- Contribute to the development of business analysis, change management tools, techniques, standards and methodologies to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Must have thorough understanding of Wealth Management/Investment Banking/ Capital Markets.
- Excellent overall knowledge of banking application and in depth knowledge of several of the functional modules like security trading, order management, settlement, corporate actions, credit, payments etc.
- Working Knowledge of Databases and SQL
- Working knowledge on any banking products. Experience with Avaloq or alternatively in other core banking solutions (e.g. Finacle, T24, BaNCS etc.)
- Positive to have working knowledge of Quality Centre, Visio, any requirement gathering tool.
