About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to join our growing IT organization. This role goes beyond traditional business partnering — you'll own the full employee lifecycle, work closely with engineering and business leaders, and help shape our HR practices as we scale. This is a outstanding fit for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants real ownership rather than a narrowly scoped function.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with engineering and business leaders to align people practices with team and company goals
Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle – Hire to Retire
Drive the performance management cycle: goal setting, check-ins, appraisals, and PIPs where needed
Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolution
Support hiring managers with recruitment coordination and a smooth candidate-to-employee experience
Design and run engagement initiatives that fit a small, fast-moving team culture
Support compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration




Ensure HR policies and statutory compliance are up to date (POSH, labour law, and other applicable regulations)
Track HR metrics (attrition, engagement, hiring velocity) and share insights with leadership
Identify training needs and support learning & development initiatives
All days working from office only.

What We're Looking For
5-8 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist, ideally in an IT/tech or startup environment
Solid grounding in performance management, employee relations, and talent management
Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance requirements
Comfortable operating independently in a small team without heavy process or hand-holding
Hands-on experience with an HRMS/HR tool (e.g., GreytHR or similar)
Strong communication skills and sound judgment handling sensitive, confidential matters
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
