About the role
We are looking for a Community Manager who is passionate about education and community building.
You will lead the day-to-day management of the KCITE educator community. Your role will be to understand what members need, create opportunities for meaningful participation, and build a consistent calendar of conversations, webinars, and learning resources.
This role requires someone who is comfortable speaking with people, taking ownership, and turning ideas into well-executed community initiatives.
Responsibilities




Manage the KCITE educator community across WhatsApp and other relevant platforms
Welcome new members and help them understand the purpose of the community
Plan and coordinate weekly free webinars for educators
Identify webinar topics based on members’ interests and classroom needs
Coordinate with teachers, school leaders, and subject experts
Start relevant conversations and encourage members to participate
Find, create, and share practical teaching resources
Follow up after webinars and continue the discussion within the community
Encourage educators to share classroom experiences, insights, and success stories
Gather member feedback and use it to improve future programmes
Maintain a calendar of community activities and learning sessions
Track engagement, webinar attendance, feedback, and community growth
Ensure all conversations remain respectful, inclusive, and relevant
