Role Overview

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support to end users and ensure the smooth functioning of desktops, laptops, applications, peripherals, and basic network connectivity. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, resolving incidents within SLA, and maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 desktop and onsite technical support to end users.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and operating systems.
Troubleshoot hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, monitors, and other peripherals.
Install and support MS Office, Outlook, Teams, browsers, antivirus, and other business applications.
Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, IP, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
Perform software installation,



configuration, updates, patching, and basic system maintenance.
Handle user account, password, and access-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.
Log, update, track, and close incidents and service requests using the ticketing system.
Perform IMAC activities – Install, Move, Add, and Change as required.
Maintain proper documentation of troubleshooting activities, assets, and resolutions.
Escalate complex hardware, network, application, or system issues to the appropriate L2/L3 teams.
Coordinate with OEM/vendors for hardware repair and replacement when required.
Follow defined SOPs, IT policies, security guidelines, and SLA requirements.
Provide professional and timely support while maintaining good communication with end users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Serv
