- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Food Technology / Biotechnology / Distillery Technology or equivalent. N
- Relevant technical qualification in Malt & Distillation / Alcohol Technology will be an advantage. N

nExperience:

- Approximately 2–6years of relevant experience in Malt, Distillation, Brewery, Distillery, Alcohol Manufacturing or a similar process industry. N
- Hands-on experience in fermentation and distillation operations will be preferred. N
- Experience in process optimisation, production planning and manufacturing KPIs is desirable. N

n1. Job Purpose
nTo manage and support day-to-day operations of the Malt and Distillation process, ensuring secure, efficient, consistent and compliant production while meeting quality, productivity, yield and cost objectives.
N2. Key Responsibilities
NA. Malt Operations

- Monitor and manage maltproduction activities including raw material handling, cleaning, steeping, germination, kilning and malt storage. N
- Ensure optimum process parameters are maintained for consistent malt quality. N
- Monitor raw material consumption, process losses, yield and productivity. N
- Coordinate with Qualityand Laboratory teams for testing and release of malt. N
- Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions. N

nB. Distillation Operations

- n
- Monitor and control distillation operations as per defined SOPs and process parameters. N
- Ensure efficient operation of fermentation, distillation, spirit recovery and related processes. N
- Monitor alcohol yield, recovery, energy consumption and process losses. N
- Ensure effective utilisation of plant equipment and minimise downtime. N
- Support troubleshootingof process and equipment-related issues in coordination with Engineering. N
