Role Descriptions: Playwright

Responsibilities:

· As a key member of the Development Team, work closely with teammates to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, useful solutions for our users.

· Write clean, scalable, and efficient code with a strong focus on quality.

· Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality (within the Team and across the Discipline).

· Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

· Empowered to make decisions for their team and able to approve and promote code/ functionality through environments to production

· Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, emphasizing quality improvements.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in quality assurance and software development and promote these with the team.

· Engage with the test discipline within Legal and General to learn, develop, and share best practices.

· Lead and educate the team on all aspects of quality assurance efforts: test planning, execution, and automation in the Workforce Management Team (including performing manual testing where you deem automated testing isn't appropriate).

· Support other specialisms across the team as needed (see 'T-shaped',



below).

· Proficiency in a modern test automation framework.

· Experience working in a Scrum or Agile workplace.

· Knowledge of Playwright, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jira, and the Microsoft Power Platform.

· Industry-specific knowledge or additional skills in quality assurance.
