Job Title: Senior Python Developer Test Automation
Location: Bommasandra, Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer Test Automation to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for software and hardware testing. The role involves Python development, framework architecture, API integration, CI/CD, and collaboration with global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and modular test automation frameworks using Python.
- Develop framework components using OOP, design patterns, REST APIs, and extensible architecture.
- Integrate automation frameworks with backend web services and internal systems.
- Develop automated testing solutions for software, hardware, and system-level scenarios.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain test frameworks across different environments.
- Work with global engineering teams to establish coding standards, best practices, and documentation.
- Support engineers in adopting automation tools, processes, and guidelines.




- Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing framework.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and framework usage guidelines.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong experience in developing scalable and modular software/frameworks.
- Valuable knowledge of REST APIs, OOP, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Python test automation frameworks, preferably PyTest/unittest.
- Experience with Python package management, virtual environments, and project structuring.
- Good exposure to Linux and scripting.
- Experience with Git Lab, Jenkins, Team City, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Django or other Python web frameworks.
- Exposure to fieldbus or communication protocols.
- Experience in hardware/system-level testing or electronics.
- Experience working with international/global engineering teams.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in Python + Test Automation + Framework Development + REST API + Linux + CI/CD will be preferred.
