Job Description: Position: Field Service Representative (FSR) – Solar Inverters Location: Bangalore, India (PAN India Travel Required) Department: Solar Services Experience: 3 - 8 Years Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering Position Summary The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and technical support of central solar inverters installed at utility-scale solar power plants.

The role requires extensive travel across India and readiness for short-term international assignments of up to 90 days to support customer projects and service operations.

Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair central solar inverters and associated equipment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Support commissioning, recommissioning, and system upgrades.

Analyse faults, alarms, and performance issues and provide effective solutions.

Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Ensure timely response and resolution of customer service requests.

Follow all safety procedures and company EHS requirements.





Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams.

Collaborate with regional and global service teams when required.

Required Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge of central solar inverter technology and power electronics.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Robust communication and customer service skills.

Good spoken and written English.

Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative attitude.

Ability to work independently in remote field locations.

Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas.

Travel Requirements Up to 80% travel across PAN India.

Must be willing to undertake international assignments of up to 90 days.

Valid passport and ability to travel globally on short notice.

Preferred Experience Experience in utility-scale solar, renewable energy, power electronics, or inverter service industries.

Hands-on experience with central solar inverters, SCADA, communication systems, and electrical equipment.
