Job Description:

- Responsible for management of workflow and concern management in PLM Tool for AVS HUT Chennai.
- PLM data management and ECN Management.
- Responsible for New Product Development (NPD) activities assigned based on customer and project needs.
- Internal and external communications on technical topics.

Activities:

- Management of PLM Tool related activities. Eg. User licenses, Tool & Data maintenance and issues management.
- Coordinate & Work with France team for PLM Tool related topics.
- Implement data uploads / approvals / release actions as per the PLM Tool workflow.
- Conduct ECN Meetings for the ECNs initiated after SOP date for implementation tracking with User departments.
- Work on technical topics from FRI/RFQ stage to SOP stage for NPD projects.
- Product design, simulation and development activities assigned time to time based on project needs.
- Working closely internally within Hutchinson and with external agencies on Technical topics.
- Preparation of reports, documentation and tracking of KPIs as assigned.





Context and environment:
You will be responsible for management of the PLM Tool, licenses and issues management, PLM Data management and ECN implementation. Responsible for NPD activities as required.

3D Experience PLM Tool management and NPD activities.

Required profile:

- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed Institution with good academic performance.
- Experience: 5+ years in Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge : CAD Tools like CATIA / NX. Work experience on Product Design & development, BOM and Engineering change. Experience in PLM Tool.
- Communication: Speaking / writing knowledge of English is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Can do attitude, Quick & Self Learner, Hands on working behavior, Disciplined, Systematic, focusing on “Attention to details”, creative, curious and positive communication skills.
