Snapscale is seeking an Intermediate Verification of Benefits/Insurance Verification Specialist to join our agile team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in validating patient insurance benefits, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims, and providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare providers. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of insurance processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough verification of patient insurance benefits for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding their insurance information.
- Process and document insurance verifications in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Resolve discrepancies in insurance information and follow up on outstanding verifications.




- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless workflow and timely claim submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to assist with inquiries.
- Provide training and support to junior staff members as needed.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance verification or a related field.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and verification software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and providers.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
