Role Description The User Interface Designer will design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications that support MAPSystems’ digital and publishing services. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs, collaborating with UX designers, developers, and product stakeholders, and translating business requirements into clear, usable interface components. The role involves maintaining design systems and style guides, preparing assets for development handoff, and ensuring consistency and accessibility across all platforms.

The designer will also participate in design reviews,



incorporate feedback, and refine interfaces based on usability and performance considerations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong user interface design skills, including proficiency in layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Candidates should possess experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
- Candidates should possess skills in wireframing, creating design systems, and preparing design specifications and assets for development teams.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of responsive design principles, web and mobile UI patterns, and basic front-end concepts (HTML, CSS) for effective collaboration.
- Candidates should possess strong collaboration and communication skills to work closely with UX designers, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a problem-solving mindset focused on usability and accessibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
- Experience in digital publishing, graphics, multimedia, or similar domains, and familiarity with AR/VR or animation workflows will be considered an advantage.
