We invite you to join our talented team as a Staff Software Engineer focused on AI native infrastructure provisioning, Kubernetes runtime platform and open source streaming (Numaflow platform) endeavours.
As a Staff Software Engineer at Intuit, you will play a significant role in designing and implementing our Kubernetes-based runtime environment, which is fundamental to driving the Intuit platform's innovative solutions at scale. We are looking for a technical leader with profound expertise in Kubernetes (specifically Amazon EKS), Golang, and AWS to drive major capabilities and ensure operational excellence in high-impact projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation efforts of multiple capabilities or sections within our AI native Kubernetes platform.
- Serve as a technical leader and domain expert across multiple teams.
- Drive and guide innovative work that may include the development of new-to-the-world technology solutions.
- Influence technology and product direction through detailed technical documents and RCA’s.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, share, and address risks impacting our business.
- Drive customer-focused design and development with a deep understanding of customer pains and needs.
- Advocate and lead by example to encourage contributions to codebases and innovations across Intuit.
- Mentor and assess engineers to foster a talented and inclusive technical team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Considerable expertise in Kubernetes, especially with Amazon EKS, including operator patterns, Kubernetes clients, controllers, shared informers, and caching mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Golang and extensive experience with AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple scrum teams (10 to 35 engineers).
- Experience in leading technical design, architecture, and code reviews.
- Strong ability to simplify technical designs and operations to enhance team understanding and performance.
- Proven track record of operational excellence and ability to innovate and simplify processes and designs.
