We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Security team. You'll work on securing Swish's applications, cloud infrastructure, internal systems, and engineering environment. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll build security tools and automation, strengthen access controls, identify vulnerabilities, and work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams.

What You'll Do

- Build security tools, automation, and internal security systems using Go, Python, or other suitable languages.
- Help secure AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, containers, and internal systems.
- Design and improve IAM, access controls, and least-privilege permissions.
- Improve secrets management and secure handling of sensitive information.
- Identify vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure, and dependencies and work with engineering teams to fix them.
- Build security checks and guardrails into CI/CD and development workflows.
- Improve security monitoring, logging, and detection capabilities.
- Participate in investigating and responding to security incidents.
- Review technical designs and infrastructure changes from a security perspective.
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve secure development and deployment practices.
- Automate security processes and reduce manual security checks.

What We're Looking For

- 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, security engineering,



application security, cloud security, or a related engineering role.
- Strong programming fundamentals and experience with at least one programming language.
- Experience with Go or Python is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cloud, application, or infrastructure security in a production environment.
- Good understanding of Linux, networking, authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, IAM, CI/CD, or security tooling.
- Experience building security tools, automation, or security controls is a strong plus.
- Robust problem-solving skills and curiosity about how systems can be secured.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and solve security problems pragmatically.
