Role Description The Sales Engineer role at Forbes Precision is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru.

The Sales

Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, propose suitable EDM and machining solutions, and prepare quotations and project scopes. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical discussions, providing product and process demonstrations, coordinating with internal engineering and production teams, and following up on leads to convert opportunities into orders.



The role also involves offering pre- and post-sales technical support, maintaining strong customer relationships, and contributing to sales forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills for precision machining and EDM solutions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client interactions and build long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including lead qualification, negotiation, and opportunity closing.
- Relevant experience in industrial machinery, manufacturing, or metalworking environments is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field is preferred.
