We are looking for an experienced Validation Engineer – Virtual ECU (vECU) & SIL Validation with strong expertise in Automotive ECU software validation, AUTOSAR-based platforms, dSPACE VEOS, virtual ECU environments, diagnostics validation, and closed-loop SIL testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform validation of Virtual ECU (vECU) environments running on dSPACE VEOS, execute integration and system-level testing of AUTOSAR-based ECU software, validate virtualized MCU peripherals, CDDs, register adaptation frameworks, and virtual interrupt handling mechanisms, support AWS-based virtual ECU deployment validation, validate GTM Functional Models including TIM, ATOM, DPLL, ARU, and MCS, verify engine angle-domain functionalities such as engine speed acquisition, cam/crank processing, ignition and injection trigger generation, validate CAN communication, UDS diagnostics, XCP, INCA, and CANape measurements, support ECU boot-up and communication bring-up activities, perform closed-loop SIL testing using plant models and bus simulations, analyze control-loop behavior, investigate software defects and simulation mismatches, develop automated test scripts using Python, integrate validation activities into CI/CD pipelines, generate validation reports and coverage metrics, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with integration, GTM, and software teams for defect resolution.
Required Skills:
Robust experience in ECU Software Validation, SIL/MIL/vECU Testing, AUTOSAR Architecture, Embedded Systems Validation,
CDD Validation, and Diagnostics Validation. Hands-on experience with CAN, UDS, SPI, SENT, and LIN protocols, exposure to Infineon AURIX TC3xx platforms, GTM peripherals (TIM, ATOM, DPLL, ARU, MCS), cloud-based simulation environments, plant model validation, and automotive virtual validation platforms.
Tools & Technologies:
dSPACE VEOS, INCA, CANape, CANoe, Control Desk, JIRA, Git/Git Hub, AWS Cloud, Python, CAPL (Preferred), AUTOSAR, XCP.
Preferred:
Experience in Engine ECU, Powertrain ECU, GPCM, Hybrid or EV Controllers, familiarity with AWS-hosted SIL platforms, exposure to virtualized hardware environments, CI/CD-based testing frameworks, and automated regression testing for vECU releases.
Education:
BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech – Automotive / Electronics / Electrical / Embedded Systems / Mechatronics Engineering
