About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The role focuses on test planning, automation, API testing, regression testing, database validation, and defect management. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to support high-quality software delivery.

Job Description

The QA Engineer will analyze functional and business requirements, prepare test scenarios and test cases, execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing, and validate application behavior against business requirements.

The role involves developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Selenium-Java, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, and Playwright, along with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will also perform API and backend testing using Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured, including validation of service integrations and microservices.

The position also covers database testing, defect tracking and root cause analysis, performance and load testing support, security validation, release testing, and participation in Agile/Scrum processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and automated regression suites.
- Perform API and microservices testing using REST Assured, Postman, Swagger, and related tools.
- Validate databases and backend functionality using SQL, MySQL,



and PostgreSQL.
- Identify, track, retest, and manage defects while collaborating with development teams on resolution.
- Support performance, load, security, release validation, and production deployment testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, requirement reviews, and continuous QA process improvement.
