Role

n

We are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist with expertise in .NET technologies, GIS application development, geospatial platforms, and applied AI. The candidate will design and develop scalable web-based geospatial applications, analytics dashboards, APIs, and AI-enabled decision-support solutions using ArcGIS, open-source GIS frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities--

n

n
- Analyse requirements and prepare technical specifications, API documentation, and solution designs.
n
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
n
- Build GIS applications, interactive maps, geospatial dashboards, and spatial analytics workflows.
n
- Work with raster, vector, satellite imagery, terrain, weather, climate, and other location-based datasets.
n
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, map services, microservices, spatial databases, and backend systems.
n
- Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities such as natural-language search, spatial data querying, intelligent alerts, automated reporting, and decision-support assistants.
n
- Develop RAG solutions using enterprise documents, databases, and geospatial metadata.
n
- Support Geo AI use cases such as image classification, change detection, forecasting, anomaly detection,



and spatial risk scoring.
n
- Optimize application performance, security, scalability, AI output quality, and processing of large geospatial datasets.
n
- Collaborate with GIS specialists, data scientists, architects, DevOps teams, and clients.
n
- Review code, troubleshoot applications, mentor junior developers, and support technical decision-making.
n
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, coding, testing, documentation, data privacy, and responsible AI standards.

Skills & Qualification--

n

n
- B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, GIS, Geoinformatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
n
- 8-10 years of software development experience, including significant exposure to GIS applications.
n
- Solid hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
n
- Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or Microsoft SQL Server.
n
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, GeoServer, CesiumJS, Leaflet, OpenLayers, or ArcGIS Maps SDK.
n
- Practical exposure to integrating AI/ML or Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
n
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, design patterns, cloud deployment, CI/CD, and containerization.
n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and team-collaboration skills.
n
- Development: C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React/Angular
n
- GIS: ArcGIS, GeoServer, CesiumJS, Leaflet, OpenLayers, GDAL, raster/vector processing, spatial analysis and visualization
n
- Databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Microsoft SQL Server
n
- AI: LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, ML.NET/Python integration, GeoAI, responsible AI
n
- Architecture: REST APIs, microservices, design patterns, application security, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Agile
n
- Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
n
- Experience developing AI-enabled geospatial, climate-risk, disaster-management, infrastructure, insurance, or environmental solutions will be an added advantage.
