Job Description – Merchandiser

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage the complete merchandising process from product development and order confirmation to production, quality control, and final shipment. The candidate will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production, sampling, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers regarding product requirements, specifications, pricing, and order details.- Handle product development, sampling, costing, and order follow-up.- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, tech packs, BOMs, and production-related documents.- Coordinate with production, sourcing, quality, and vendors to ensure smooth order execution.- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, samples, and approvals.- Track order status from sampling through shipment.- Ensure products meet buyer specifications, quality standards,



and delivery timelines.- Communicate with suppliers and vendors for material availability and production updates.- Identify production delays or issues and coordinate solutions promptly.- Maintain accurate records of orders, approvals, production status, and shipments.- Assist in preparing quotations, costing sheets, and order reports.- Coordinate with the logistics team for timely dispatch and shipment documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Positive knowledge of garment manufacturing and fashion products.- Excellent follow-up and coordination abilities.- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, measurements, and garment construction.- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and merchandising software.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- Graduate in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, Business Administration, or a related field.- Previous experience in garment/fashion merchandising preferred.

- On-time order completion and shipment.- Accuracy of costing and order documentation.- Sample and approval turnaround time.- Production follow-up and coordination efficiency.- Quality compliance and buyer satisfaction.- Vendor and supplier performance.
