We are looking for a Research Associate / Scientist – Method Development & Validation to support the Analytical R&D; team in developing and validating analytical methods for Healthcare and Personal Care products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate new analytical methods as per ICH guidelines.
- Perform method validation, assay, stability and control sample analysis.
- Handle sophisticated analytical instruments including HPLC, HPTLC, GLC and GC-MS.
- Conduct marker-based assay of Healthcare and Personal Care products.
- Perform raw material analysis and support specification development for NPDs.
- Conduct pre-formulation, finished goods and one-time analytical studies.
- Perform internal calibration and routine maintenance of analytical instruments.
- Ensure laboratory activities comply with GLP, documentation and audit requirements.
- Prepare analytical reports, technical documents and presentations.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Technology Transfer, CQA and other cross-functional teams.
Candidate Profile
- Education: M. Sc.
in Analytical/Organic Chemistry or M. Pharm / relevant Pharmacy qualification.
- Experience: 3–5 years in Analytical R&D; / Method Development / QC / QA within Pharma, FMCG, Healthcare, Personal Care or related industries.
- Strong hands-on experience in HPLC and GC-MS is essential; exposure to HPTLC/GLC is preferred.
- Good understanding of ICH guidelines, analytical method validation and basic chemical analysis.
- Knowledge of NABL / API / AYUSH guidelines will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Ayurvedic / Herbal products is preferred.
- Understanding of physico-chemical properties of products.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid documentation, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel based on business requirements.
