Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced commercetools Developer to design develop integrate and scale enterprise-grade composable commerce applications . The ideal candidate should have strong experience with commercetools API-first/headless commerce microservices REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud technologies .
The candidate will work on building versatile and scalable e-commerce solutions using MACH architecture principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop customize and maintain e-commerce solutions using commercetools APIs and microservices .
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL operations.
- Integrate commercetools with third-party enterprise applications such as ERP CRM PIM OMS and payment gateways .
- Configure and implement commercetools extensibility features including API Extensions Message Subscriptions and custom integrations .
- Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda Google Cloud Functions or similar technologies.
- Work with product catalogs pricing promotions discounts customer data carts orders and checkout workflows .
- Design and implement scalable solutions based on MACH architecture - Microservices API-first Cloud-native and Headless.
- Collaborate with frontend backend architecture product and business teams to deliver end-to-end commerce solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues optimize application performance and ensure solution scalability.
- Participate in code reviews testing deployments and production support.
- Follow development best practices coding standards security guidelines and CI/CD processes.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with commercetools development.
- Strong understanding of composable/headless commerce platforms.
- Experience with MACH architecture and microservices.
- Strong programming experience in Java or similar backend technologies .
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and GraphQL .
- Experience with third-party integrations such as ERP CRM PIM OMS and payment systems .
- Experience with commercetools API Extensions and Message Subscriptions .
- Experience with AWS Lambda Google Cloud Functions or other serverless technologies .
- Good understanding of e-commerce domain concepts including products catalogs pricing promotions customers carts orders and checkout.
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD .
- Strong debugging problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with React Angular or other modern frontend frameworks .
- Experience with AWS / GCP / Azure .
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes .
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms .
- Experience with PIM OMS ERP CRM and payment integrations .
- Knowledge of Git Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools .
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
Experience
- 5 years of software development experience .
- Strong hands-on experience in commercetools / composable commerce .
- Experience developing enterprise-grade e-commerce applications is preferred.
