Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead the PPC function for a structural steel and heavy engineering fabrication facility. The role will focus on production planning material coordination capacity utilization scheduling and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor production plans schedules and work orders .
- Track daily production and Plan vs. Actual performance.
- Plan material requirements based on BOMs drawings and production schedules .
- Coordinate with Production Procurement Stores Quality Design and Projects teams.
- Manage manpower machine capacity WIP and resource allocation.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate inspection dispatch and delivery schedules.
- Prepare DPR MIS and KPI reports .
- Drive improvements in planning accuracy productivity and operational efficiency.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./ in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in PPC Production Planning or Manufacturing Planning.
- Experience in structural steel heavy engineering fabrication EPC pressure vessels tanks ducting or similar industries preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel .
- Robust knowledge of production scheduling capacity planning and material planning.
