Job Overview

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience supporting web applications and application environments using Windows Server IIS SQL Server .

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with application deployments production troubleshooting system configuration and resolving technical issues within defined service levels.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

- Support and troubleshoot web applications APIs and application environments.
- Deploy configure upgrade and maintain applications hosted on IIS.
- application deployments and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot application IIS SQL Server connectivity and production issues.
- Handle application releases patches fixes and service requests.
- Troubleshoot SSL certificates DNS ports and network connectivity.
- Assist with security hardening and remediation of application/server vulnerabilities.
- Analyze logs and identify the root cause of production issues.
- Work with internal and customer-facing teams to resolve technical issues.




- Ensure issues are handled within agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Provide occasional onsite and after-hours support when required.

Requirements

Required Skills

- 2 years of experience in Application Support / Production Support.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and IIS.
- Experience application deployment and support.
- Valuable working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SSL DNS networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Understanding of application/server security and vulnerability remediation.
- Basic SQL/scripting knowledge.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Preferred

- Experience with APIs and web applications.
- Exposure to SQL clustering or log shipping.
- Exposure to DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with basic mobile application/platform support.
