Hiring: Senior Java Engineer (Kafka / Streaming Focus)

Scope of Work

n

n
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
n
- Build secure microservices with JWT authentication, validation, and error handling.
n
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, and aggregation pipelines.
n
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS EC2 and IAM.
n
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
n
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
n
- Design and implement real-time streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
n
- Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets.
n
- Configure and maintain Kafka Connect integrations.
n
- Build CDC pipelines using Debezium for MySQL/Aurora data capture.
n
- Manage Schema Registry and schema evolution using Avro/JSON.
n
- Develop stream-processing applications using Kafka Streams or Flink.
n
- Monitor Kafka environments, including DLQs, consumer lag, and performance.
n
- Support Kafka deployments on Confluent Platform or AWS MSK.

Mandatory Requirements

n

n
- 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
n
- Strong knowledge of JWT authentication, validation, and exception handling.
n
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB schema design, indexing, and aggregations.
n
- Experience with AWS EC2 and IAM.
n
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
n
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
n
- Robust understanding of DSA, including arrays, trees, graphs, hashing, and complexity.
n
- Expertise in Apache Kafka, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets.
n
- Experience with Kafka Connect source and sink connectors.
n
- Knowledge of Debezium CDC, binlog capture, and GTID handling.
n
- Familiarity with Schema Registry, Avro, and JSON schema evolution.
n
- Experience with Kafka Streams or Apache Flink.
n
- Knowledge of DLQ handling, lag monitoring, and Kafka tuning.
n
- Exposure to Confluent Platform or AWS MSK preferred.
