Job DescriptionRole: MTS 2 - Embedded Software Engineer(BMS) NnLocation: Euler Motors, Delhi NnTechnical Skills Required: NnRequirements Nn1. 4+ yearsof experience in Embedded Software/Firmware Development. N2. Hands-on experience withRTOS-based systems (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr, or equivalent). N3. Hands-on experience withcommunication protocols such as CAN/CAN-FD, I2C, SPI, Iso-SPI, NUART, and RS485.n4. Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) firmware development and battery monitoring Napplications.n5. Hands-on experience in algorithm development and implementation for Lithium-Ion batteries, Nparticularly LFP cells (SOC, SOH, SOP, cell balancing, fault detection, and protection algorithms). N6. Robust debugging and troubleshooting skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol Nanalyzers, and debuggers. N7. Good understanding of microcontroller architectures, peripherals, interrupts, DMA, and memory Nmanagement (STM32 and NXPpreferred). N8. Experience developing low-level device drivers and HAL abstractions. N9. Familiarity with ADCs,sensors, EEPROMs, Flash memory, and battery monitoring ICs. N10. Understanding of embedded software design patterns, modular architecture, and code Noptimization techniques. N11. Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows. N12. Familiarity with unittesting, integration testing, SIL/HIL testing, and automated test frameworks. N13. Understanding of MISRA-C guidelines and secure coding practices. N14.



Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design. N15. Ability to take ownership of features,Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis Nskills.n16. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. N17. Experience with developing, validating, or utilizing Equivalent Circuit Models (ECM) for various Nlithium-ion cell chemistries (LFP, NMC, etc.) to support battery characterization, simulation, and Nstate estimationnGood to Have: N1. Familiarity with automotive functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and experience Nworking within safety-oriented development processes. N2. Understanding of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes, software development lifecycle, and Ntraceability requirements.N3. Exposure to AUTOSAR architecture, software components, and automotive software development Nmethodologies.n4.Knowledgeof Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Functional Safety Concepts (FSC), Nand Technical Safety Concepts (TSC). N5. Experience creating and maintaining safety-related work products including requirements, design Ndocuments, verification reports, and traceability matrices. N6. Familiarity with static analysis, code reviews, and compliance with coding standards such as NMISRA-C/MISRA-C++.n7. Understanding of FMEA, DFMEA, SFMEA, FMEDA, and fault-tree analysis methodologies. N8. Exposure to safety-critical communication protocols and diagnostic standards such as UDS, OBD, Nand CAN-FD diagnostics.
