Job Description

Experience: 7–12 years in Data Engineering / Data Integration / Enterprise Data Management, with strong hands-on experience in Customer MDM or Identity Resolution.

1. MDM & Customer 360

n

n
- Robust experience building or developing Customer MDM / Customer 360 solutions.
n
- Good understanding of Golden Records, Customer/Party models, source systems, crosswalks and data lineage.
n
- Should have hands-on experience with customer/individual mastering and deduplication.
n

n

2. Entity & Identity Resolution – Critical

n

n
- Strong experience in Entity Resolution, Identity Resolution and Record Linkage.
n
- Hands-on experience with deterministic, probabilistic and fuzzy matching.
n
- Should understand blocking/candidate generation, matching scores, thresholds, precision/recall, false positives/negatives.
n
- Experience handling duplicate customers/individuals across multiple source systems.
n

n

3. Survivorship & Golden Record

n

n
- Strong understanding of attribute-level survivorship rules.
n
- Ability to determine which source/value should become the Golden Record based on source priority, quality, completeness, recency, verification, etc.
n
- Experience with merge/unmerge, crosswalks, source traceability and reversible merges.
n

4. Advanced SQL – Mandatory

n

n
- Strong/advanced SQL is mandatory.
n
- Should be comfortable working with large datasets and complex SQL.
n
- Experience with CTEs, window functions, MERGE, query optimization and set-based processing.
n




- Candidate should be hands-on in writing and optimizing production SQL, not just reviewing it.
n

5. Snowflake + dbt

n

n
- Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake.
n
- Hands-on dbt experience for transformation, modular models, testing, lineage and documentation.
n
- PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
n

n

6. Data Modeling & Data Quality

n

n
- Strong data modeling / entity-relationship modeling skills.
n
- Experience designing models around customers, individuals, organizations, identifiers, relationships and hierarchies.
n
- Should be able to perform data profiling, cleansing, standardization, validation, reconciliation and deduplication.
n

7. Engineering Mindset

n

n
- This is a custom MDM development/build role, not simply an MDM platform configuration role.
n
- Candidate should be comfortable reviewing existing logic, identifying gaps, writing production code, testing match quality and continuously improving the Load → Match → Merge → Review → Refine lifecycle.
n
