About the Role

n

We are looking for a Career Counsellor who can understand a candidate's aspirations, assess their career goals, and guide them toward the right AI and technology-enabled career pathway offered by Empowered Careers.

n

The Counsellor will play a critical role in helping learners make informed career decisions while also contributing to the growth of our talent transformation programs.

n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, understanding their goals, solving career-related challenges, and helping candidates take action toward their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

n

1. Career Counselling

n

n
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students, graduates, working professionals, and career switchers.
n
- Understand candidates' educational background, skills, interests, career aspirations, and challenges.
n
- Recommend suitable career pathways based on individual goals and market requirements.
n
- Explain how AI and emerging technologies are changing different job roles and career opportunities.
n
- Help candidates understand the skills, experience, and mindset required to become enterprise-ready professionals.
n

2. Program Guidance

n

n




- Clearly explain Empowered Careers' AI Talent Factory programs, learning pathways, outcomes, and career opportunities.
n
- Guide candidates through program structure, curriculum, projects, hands-on product engineering, and real-world deployment opportunities.
n
- Address candidate questions and concerns regarding career outcomes, learning commitment, program suitability, and progression.
n
- Help candidates choose the most appropriate pathway based on their background and career objectives.
n

3. Candidate Engagement

n

n
- Follow up with prospective learners through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
n
- Maintain consistent engagement throughout the counselling and enrolment journey.
n
- Build trust and establish strong relationships with prospective candidates and learners.
n
- Maintain accurate records of counselling interactions and candidate status in the CRM.
n

4. Conversion & Business Growth

n

n
- Convert qualified leads into enrolled learners through consultative counselling.
n
- Understand candidate objections and provide appropriate, ethical, and value-driven solutions.
n
- Achieve individual and team counselling/enrolment targets.
n
- Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
n

5. Market & Career Awareness

n

- Stay updated on emerging AI roles, technology careers, industry trends, and changing employer expectations.
n
- Develop a strong understanding of career opportunities across AI, software, data, product engineering, and related domains.
n
- Use industry insights to help candidates make realistic and informed career decisions.
n

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

- Prior experience in career counselling, education counselling, EdTech, inside sales, recruitment, HR, training, or business development is preferred.

- Candidates with robust communication and people skills who are passionate about careers and technology may also be considered.
