We are hiring for a Senior FPGA RTL Developer on behalf of a leading quantitative trading and high-frequency trading firm. The team works on ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure where hardware acceleration plays a critical role in achieving performance and execution efficiency across global financial markets.

Role: Senior FPGA RTL Developer

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based solutions for ultra-low-latency applications.
n
- Implement RTL designs using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
n
- Work on high-speed data processing, packet handling, and hardware acceleration pipelines.
n
- Collaborate with software, trading, and infrastructure teams to improve overall system performance.
n
- Perform simulation, debugging, synthesis, timing closure, and hardware validation.
n
- Analyze latency bottlenecks and drive FPGA-level performance optimizations.
n
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to next-generation trading platforms.
n

Required Skills

n

n
- 3+ years of experience in FPGA/RTL Design.
n




- Strong expertise in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
n
- Experience with FPGA development flows, synthesis, place & route, and timing closure.
n
- Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals, computer architecture, and high-speed interfaces.
n
- Experience with Xilinx/AMD or Intel (Altera) FPGA platforms.
n
- Familiarity with simulation and verification tools.
n
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.
n

Preferred Skills

n

- Experience in low-latency systems, networking, or trading infrastructure.
n
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/UDP, PCIe, or high-speed communication protocols.
n
- Exposure to hardware acceleration, market data processing, or exchange connectivity.
n
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Bash.
