We are looking for a Sr. Engineer with 3–7 years of experience in the Set-Top Box (STB) domain. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting embedded software solutions for Linux-based STB platforms, with a focus on multimedia, OTT, and broadcast technologies.

Key Responsibilities

n

• Develop and maintain software components for STB platforms.

n

• Perform feature development, integration, and bug fixing in Embedded Linux environments.

n

• Debug and resolve issues across application, middleware, and platform layers.

n

• Work on video streaming, OTT applications, DRM integration, and broadcast technologies.

n

• Collaborate with QA, hardware, and customer teams for product releases.

n

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex software issues.

n





• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

n

n

Required Technical Skills Core Skills:

n

• Strong programming skills in C and C++.

n

• Positive experience in Embedded Linux development and debugging.

n

• Understanding of STB architecture, middleware, and device integration.

n

• Knowledge of IPTV, DVB, OTT, MPEG-DASH, HLS streaming technologies.

n

• Experience with DRM solutions such as Widevine or PlayReady.

n

• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Wi-Fi, and multimedia technologies.

n

• Experience with Git, Jira, and Linux debugging tools.

n

• Understanding of CI/CD and Agile development practices.
