About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with strong CakePHP expertise to join our development team working on enterprise applications for Japanese clients.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in PHP development, a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the ability to understand Japanese project documents and communicate directly with Japanese clients regarding assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

n

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and CakePHP.

n

• Analyze Japanese requirement documents, specifications, and design documents.

n

• Understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

n

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

n

• Perform impact analysis before development.

n

• Prepare technical design documents when required.

n

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code.

n

• Perform unit testing before delivery.

n

• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.

n

• Fix bugs and perform root cause analysis.





n

• Communicate development progress, issues, and questions directly with Japanese clients.

n

• Participate in online meetings with Japanese customers.

n

• Follow documentation and quality assurance processes.

Required Technical Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.

n

• Robust hands-on experience with CakePHP Framework.

n

• Good understanding of MVC Architecture.

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.

• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

n

• Experience in REST API development.

n

• Git version control.

n

• Debugging and troubleshooting skills.

n

• Linux server knowledge is an advantage.
