Software Engineer – Java/Python & AI

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, enterprise application development, and AI-assisted software engineering.

n

Key Requirements:

n

n
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in a large enterprise/corporate environment.
n
- 3+ years Java development experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
n
- 2+ years Python development experience in production environments.
n
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools/frameworks such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor AI, LangChain, Spring AI, or equivalent.
n
- Strong experience in system design, application development, testing, and production support/stability.
n
- Strong SQL/database experience including stored procedures, views, and query optimization.
n
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, resiliency, and security practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
n
- Demonstrated understanding of Responsible AI,



including secure handling of AI inputs/outputs and validation of AI-generated code.
n
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while critically reviewing generated outputs.
n

Education – Mandatory:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent engineering discipline; OR
n
- Formal software engineering certification from a recognized organization such as Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, or equivalent for candidates without a relevant engineering degree.
n

Preferred:

n

n
- React, Angular, or other contemporary frontend technologies.
n
- AWS, Azure, GCP, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
n
- Experience in Payments, CIB, banking, or regulated financial services.
n
- Exposure to AI/ML or data platforms.
n

n

Industry: Payments / Commercial & Investment Banking / Financial Services

n
