We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead high-performing backend engineering teams focused on building scalable SaaS and platform capabilities using Java, Microservices, AWS, and Node.js technologies.

What You’ll Do

n

n
- Lead and mentor a team of backend and full-stack engineers building scalable distributed systems.
n
- Strong understanding of Low-Level Design principles, with the ability to review and guide engineers on pseudocode, algorithms, design patterns, and implementation quality
n
- Drive architecture, design, and delivery of cloud-native applications and microservices.
n
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders.
n
- Own engineering execution, sprint planning, roadmap delivery, and operational excellence.
n
- Build highly available and resilient systems running on AWS cloud infrastructure.
n
- Champion engineering best practices including CI/CD, code reviews, observability, security, and performance optimization.
n




- Drive modernization initiatives from monolithic systems to event-driven microservices architectures.
n
- Foster a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
n
- Support hiring, team scaling, career development, and performance management.
n
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for high traffic and low latency environments.

What We’re Looking For

n

n
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2+ years in Architecture Design/HLD/LLD/
n
- Strong hands-on expertise in handling projects covering below skills.
n
- Java
n
- Spring Boot
n
- Microservices Architecture
n
- Node.js / TypeScript
n
- REST APIs
n
- AWS Cloud Services
n
- Experience building SaaS platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
n
- Strong understanding of:

- Event-driven architectures
n
- Kafka or messaging systems
n
- Docker & Kubernetes
n
- CI/CD pipelines
n
- System design & scalability patterns
n
- Experience with modern engineering practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps culture.
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to balance hands-on technical contributions with people leadership responsibilities.

Valuable to Have

n

- Experience in OTT, Media Streaming, AdTech, Payments, or Subscription platforms.
n
- Exposure to high-scale consumer applications serving global audiences.
n
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or ELK.
n
- Experience with React or frontend ecosystems is an added advantage.
n
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows or platform automation initiatives.
