To fuel this hyper-growth, we are looking for a visionary SDE 4 to own core domains and define our technical trajectory. The Blueprint of the Role As an SDE 4, you won't just write code; you will hold the architectural keys to a platform spanning multiple services. You are a high-autonomy technical leader who can navigate ambiguity and influence across teams without direct authority. The Core Mission: Raise our engineering bar through rigorous design reviews, exemplary mentorship, and high-ROI architectural decisions that perfectly balance speed, reliability, and cost-per-transaction awareness. What Your Quarters Will Look Like Architect & Own: Lead multi-service systems handling millions of transactions, explicitly reasoning about contracts, failure modes, and cross-service observability. Drive Design & ROI: Execute high- and low-level designs, making critical build/buy/defer choices framed by contribution-margin. Elevate Operations: Own engineering operations (SLIs/SLAs, MTTR/MTTA) and build automated remediation systems (throttles, auto-retries) to prevent repeat incidents. Write Exemplary Code: Ship clean, maintainable, production-grade code using SOLID principles, ensuring interfaces withstand 2–3x system growth.
