Role: Software Development Engineer in Test - I (Quality Engineering / Test Automation)

About the Role
Test Strategy & Planning: Design Test Plans, Test Specifications, and Test Cases for product features while identifying challenges, risks, and providing test estimates.
Feature Ownership: Take full ownership of feature testing and drive it to completion.
Execution & Coverage: Execute regression test suites, perform exploratory testing, and maximize test coverage for critical system features using automation.
Automation Maintenance: Drive and maintain automation test suites to ensure system quality.
Version Control: Maintain and manage codebase utilizing version control systems (Git or SVN).

Requirements
Experience:



3+ years of experience in software testing and engineering.
Programming Languages: Mandatory proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: Java or JavaScript.
Testing Tools: Working knowledge of tools such as Playwright, Appium, Postman, and Selenium.
Version Control: Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git or SVN) is a must.
Plusses: Knowledge of performance and security testing is an added advantage.
Soft Skills: Positive communication skills and a positive work attitude.
