About the Role

n

n

Location: Mumbai (Chakala)/Bengaluru(Marathahalli) – Hybrid. Fully Remote working may be possible in some cases.

n

n

As a Technical Writer, your responsibilities will include:

n

• Analysing source material that may be incomplete, inconsistently structured, or require clarifications

n

• Interacting with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather missing information

n

• Developing mid-complexity documentation units involving multiple sections, workflows, or dependencies

n

• Participating in content analysis and documentation planning activities

n

• Supporting illustrations and visuals by providing transparent input or collaborating with illustrators

n

• Working effectively within virtual and cross-functional teams

n

• Following defined documentation processes, tools, and style guidelines

n

• Proactively identifying documentation gaps and proposing improvement ideas

n

• Managing assigned tasks with limited supervision while meeting quality and timeline expectations

n

n

Experience

n

• 4 to 6 years of experience in technical documentation or related content development roles

n

• Proven experience in creating complex documentation

n

• Strong ability to interpret, restructure, and simplify technical information

n





• Proven ability to work with imperfect inputs and drive clarification discussions

n

• Proficiency in structured authoring; especially DITA

n

• Prior exposure to telecom environments preferred

n

n

Soft Skills

n

• Mostly self-driven; requires minimal micromanagement

n

• Strong collaboration skills with developers and technical teams

n

• Confident in steering discussions and asking the right questions

n

• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

n

• Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented

n
