Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 1 year of experience to manage day-to-day accounting activities, invoices, payments, GST-related records, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, quotations, and payment records.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Maintain cash, bank, and expense records.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
Assist with GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Track customer payments and outstanding amounts.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payments and invoices.
Prepare basic financial reports and MIS statements.
Maintain proper documentation of all accounting records.
Support management with accounting and financial information when required.

Requirements




Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
Any degree is acceptable.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and basic taxation.
Experience with Tally / Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Candidates within approximately 5 km of Villivakkam are preferred.

Preferred
Experience in a small or medium-sized business setting.
Knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
