About the Role:

n

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SDET Engineer to support GRhombus’s clients across multiple engagements and domains. This role is fully hands-on and central to our Quality Engineering services, driving excellence in automation, DevSecOps integration, and engineering-led testing.

n

The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, collaborate directly with client stakeholders, and help shape quality strategies aligned with business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

n

Client Consulting & Delivery Excellence

n

n
- Engage closely with client product owners, architects, business teams, and engineering leaders
n
- Understand client priorities, constraints, and technical landscapes
n
- Design and present automation strategies, frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
n
- Ensure solutions meet client needs, SLAs, and delivery commitments
n

n

Automation Framework Development

n

n
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
n
- Work with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, and Fiddler
n
- Implement BDD using Gherkin syntax aligned with client delivery models
n
- Design reusable libraries and automation components
n

n

Hands-On Engineering Contribution

n

n
- Develop high-quality automation scripts using TypeScript, Python, C#, and Node.js
n
- Drive in-sprint automation for rapid delivery
n
- Support multiple client teams across engagements
n
- Apply engineering best practices and coding standards
n

n

DevSecOps & Quality Pipeline Ownership

n

n
- Integrate automation suites within CI/CD pipelines
n
- Work with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and SonarQube
n




- Support continuous testing and automated validations
n
- Promote shift-left testing and real-time feedback mechanisms
n

n

Performance & Non-Functional Testing

n

n
- Support performance testing initiatives using k6 and LoadRunner Cloud
n
- Work with observability and diagnostics tools such as Grafana and SolarWinds DPA
n
- Identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and reliability improvements
n

n

AI-Enabled Quality Engineering

n

n
- Introduce AI and GenAI capabilities into quality engineering workflows
n
- Implement accelerators for test case generation, smart test data creation, and script healing
n
- Recommend AI-driven approaches for improving speed, quality, and cost optimization
n

n

Collaboration & Leadership

n

n
- Work closely with internal delivery teams and client engineering squads
n
- Participate in Agile ceremonies across distributed teams
n
- Mentor team members and support engineering maturity initiatives
n
- Facilitate collaboration between business and technical stakeholders
n

n

Required Qualifications:

n

n
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
n
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or test automation
n
- Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber
n
- Experience with TypeScript, Python, C#, and Node.js
n
- Good understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
n
- Experience working in Agile and distributed team environments
n
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and DevSecOps practices
n
- Minimum 1 year of experience leveraging GenAI/LLMs in QA
n
