Junior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Fee and Cash Management: Track student fee collections, receipts, refunds, and daily cash or bank deposits.
Ledger Maintenance: Record journal entries, post vouchers, and update accounts payable and receivable.
Reconciliations: Assist with monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and vendor statement checks.
Audit Support: Gather invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for internal or external institutional audits.
Qualifications &
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting.
Software: Basic proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software like Tally or ERP systems.
Skills: Solid attention to detail, teamwork, and basic communication skills.
Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight: Manage general ledger operations, oversee month-end/year-end closing processes, and prepare balance sheets and income statements.
Statutory Compliance: Handle institutional tax deductions, GST, TDS,
or non-profit regulatory filings.
Budgeting &
MIS:
Prepare monthly management information system (MIS) reports, budget monitoring, and variance analysis.
Supervision &
Audits:
Lead audit coordination with statutory auditors and review junior accountants' journal entries or ledger balances
Qualifications &
Skills
Education &
Experience:
Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), MBA in Finance, or qualified qualifications like CA Inter, with 5 to 10+ years of accounting experience (preferably in an educational or institutional setting).
Software: Advanced knowledge of ERP platforms, Tally, and expert-level MS Excel.
Skills: Robust analytical thinking, leadership, internal control management, and regulatory interpretation.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
