Role Overview
We want our clinicians to spend their time on what only they can do: caring for people. The mundane, repetitive work around that care, we want AI to take off their plate. As an intern on this team, you'll work alongside us to find those problems and build AI that solves them. You'll get real ownership from day one, ship things people actually use, and learn fast by building rather than watching.
What You'll Do
Build AI prototypes, automations, and agents that take repetitive work off clinicians and care teams
Take an idea and turn it into a small working product, with support from the team where you need it
Use LLMs, RAG, agents, MCP, and tool-calling to automate real workflows
Build with security and privacy in mind, because the work is sensitive
Ship quickly, then improve based on what's actually live
Use AI tools across your own workflow: writing, reviewing, debugging, shipping
Ask valuable questions and work closely with the team to understand the real problem before you build
What We're Looking For
You build obsessively: side projects, hackathons,
things you couldn't stop yourself from making
Comfortable with at least one language (Python or JavaScript), and you've played seriously with LLM APIs
Strong fundamentals, or the hunger to build them rapid: you want to understand how things actually work, not just how to call them
A privacy-first instinct, especially when the data is sensitive
You already use AI tools in how you build
You can show the work: repos, prototypes, live links, anything you've made
Hungry, quick, and coachable: you care more about learning and shipping than about job titles
Nice to Have
Any project where you shipped something real with LLMs, agents, or automations
Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval
Any exposure to cloud (GCP or AWS) or working in a shared codebase with Git
An eye for whether your AI actually works, not just that it runs
Interest in healthcare, mental health, or building for real-world impact
