Quality Assurance (QA) Functions
Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (PQMS).
Prepare, review, and approve:
Quality plans (QAP)
Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
Method Statements
Work procedures as per ISO standards
Ensure compliance with:
Contract specifications
IS codes / ASTM / relevant standards
Client and consultant requirements
Conduct internal quality audits and ensure closure of non-conformities.
Monitor vendor & subcontractor quality systems and approvals
Quality Control (QC) Functions supervise and carry out inspection and testing of materials and works:
Concrete works (batching, pouring, curing)
Rock excavation, slope stabilization, tunneling
Dam structures, waterways, surge shafts, power house
Reinforcement and shuttering checks
Ensure testing of materials like:
Cement, aggregates, steel, water, admixtures
Verify and maintain:
Field test reports
Cube testing, soil testing, NDT reports
Coordinate with laboratories (site & third-party labs).
