Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer - SAS and Oracle develpment to design, develop, test, and maintain SAS programs, reports, data processes, and analytical solutions. The candidate should have solid experience in SAS programming, SQL, oracle, data manipulation, and working with large datasets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
Work with Oracle databases to retrieve, manipulate, and manage large volumes of data.
Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries .
Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, and views where required.
Use PROC SQL, DATA Step, SAS Macros, and SAS procedures for data processing.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Integrate SAS applications with Oracle databases.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Develop automated reports and data processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize program and query performance.
Collaborate with business analysts, database teams, developers, and other stakeholders.
Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Qualifications:





Atleast 5 years of relevant work experience as Senior Developer - SAS and Oracle development or SAS Developer or in a similar role
Atleast 5 years of relevant work experience in SAS Development and Oracle
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics , or a related field.
Strong experience in Base SAS
SAS DATA Step programming
PROC ORACLE
SAS Macros
SAS data manipulation and transformation
PROC SORT, PROC MEANS, PROC FREQ, PROC REPORT
SAS reporting and data validation
Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL
Experience with PL/SQL
Stored Procedures and Functions
Packages and Triggers
Views and complex joins
Query and performance optimization
Oracle database concepts
Strong communication skills
