Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsibilities
Support implementation of safety, health, and environmental standards in the plant.
Maintain safety records, incident reports, MIS, and statutory documentation.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, PPE audits, and awareness programs.
Coordinate safety training for employees and contract workers.
Monitor compliance with the Factories Act and other statutory requirements.
Identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure corrective actions.
Support certification of safety-critical equipment and statutory audits.
Assist in preparing SOPs and organizing safety initiatives/events.

Key Deliverables
Reduction in workplace injuries and incidents.
Timely reporting and closure of near misses.
Effective implementation of Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS).




Improved PPE compliance and safety awareness.
Implementation of safety improvement/Poka-Yoke initiatives.
Compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
